The global coronavirus pandemic has certainly impacted the planned public activities of the Trustees during 2020 (and now 2021). While trustee meetings have been reduced to just telephone calls due to the lockdowns within Scotland and the Borders area, we want everyone to be safe.
Sadly several planned activities have been called off. However the words of Will can always be read during the lockdowns; and on other days, there are hills to be walked, and the cairn to be visited, and his words revisited on the walks. In Scotland, have you been to the Bowmont, the Ashkirk kirk, and walked the hill roads to Roberton and Harden Glen? In Queensland, the Cobb and Co. Museum or the Stockman’s Hall of Fame? In New South Wales, Bourke awaits; while in South Australia, Penola begs your patronage.
Behind the scenes, we are working hard still collecting and collating the efforts and works of Will. A new anthology is on the way! There have been some great little gems discovered.
2021: Our annual general meeting was held in accordance with the statutes and the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator, in March 2021.
